Require a complete control handoff
The installer should identify the compatible model, wiring or adapter work, configured modes and stages, testing, wall repair, disposal, warranty, and homeowner instructions. For zoning, boilers, heat pumps, staged equipment, or communicating systems, a display swap is not a sufficient acceptance test.
