Contractors may call it interior weeping tile, an interior French drain, a perimeter drain, or a proprietary channel. Compare the physical scope rather than the name.

The units and bundled components are not interchangeable universal rates. Use them to understand scale, not to price a project without measurements.
What the installation includes
A proposal may include floor protection, concrete cutting and removal, a trench, stone, drainage pipe or channel, wall-drainage material where specified, a sump basin and pump, discharge piping, and concrete replacement. Finished walls, flooring, cabinets, stored contents, and disposal can add access and restoration costs.
The system normally needs a destination. Where gravity discharge is not available, water may be collected at a sump. Pump, power, check valve, alarm, backup, and discharge should appear as separate line items when they are part of the design.
Partial versus full perimeter
A partial system can cost less when the water mechanism and affected length are well established. An interior drain can be a proportionate solution, but it is not automatically a cure for structural movement, plumbing leakage, surface drainage, or overland flooding. Start with the collection route

A serviceable system is part of the value, not an optional detail after the price is set.
Compare the disruption honestly
Interior drainage can avoid exterior excavation, but it moves the work into the basement. Include contents handling, dust and noise protection, wall or floor opening, concrete removal, disposal, drying, replacement concrete, flooring, drywall, trim, cabinets, and painting where applicable. A short linear-foot proposal may be incomplete if it does not say what happens to the finished room.

If the system is installed before finishing, define the observation and testing needed before the room is closed.
The right interior-drain budget is not the least disruptive headline. It is the one that buys a complete collection and discharge path while making restoration and future access visible.
Keep photographs of the route before concrete and finishes return. Record the basin, pump, discharge, cleanouts, and the perimeter that was intentionally excluded. That record lets future service distinguish an interior system limit from a new source.
